Eagle Ridge Embroidery is the custom embroidery side of Eagle Ridge Apparel, our shop in Meridian, Idaho — and if you landed here wondering whether we're the right fit for your project, this post walks through exactly what we do, what a typical order looks like, and how turnaround works for customers across the Treasure Valley.

What Eagle Ridge Embroidery Actually Does

We stitch logos, text, and custom artwork directly onto apparel and hard goods. Hats, polos, jackets, vests, beanies, bags — if it can sit under a needle, we've probably run it. The thread is woven into the fabric itself, not printed on top, which is why embroidery holds up through commercial laundry, Idaho summers, and 60-washings-and-counting better than most decoration methods.

Typical orders we run every week: a construction crew needs 24 Richardson 112 snapbacks with a two-color left-chest logo; a Treasure Valley credit union branch wants 40 port authority polos for a branch opening; a youth-sports booster club needs 80 zip-up hoodies done in two weeks. All three of those are straightforward embroidery jobs that go through our shop without fuss.

One thing customers ask about constantly: setup. We don't charge setup fees, and we include free digitizing on your first run. Digitizing is the process of converting your logo into a stitch file the machine can read — shops often charge $40–$100 for that step. We absorb it, because it's the friction that stops people from ever placing the order.

How Our Embroidery Pricing Works

Embroidery is priced by stitch count and quantity, not by color count. A simple left-chest logo (think: 8,000–12,000 stitches) on a polo at a quantity of 24 typically runs between $8 and $14 per piece for the embroidery alone, depending on placement and stitch density. Add a second location — a sleeve hit or a back name — and the per-piece cost goes up modestly.

Hats cost a little more per piece than flat garments because cap embroidery requires a separate hooping process and cap-specific digitizing. A 24-piece hat run with a front and back hit is a common ask, and those usually land in the $12–$18 per-hat range for the decoration, not counting the blank.

We don't have order minimums on most jobs. (Honestly, a single embroidered jacket is something we'll do — though per-piece cost is higher at qty 1 than at qty 50, same as anywhere.) If you need one piece or 500 pieces, send the project over and we'll quote it straight.

For a detailed look at how embroidery and DTF printing compare on smaller runs, our embroidery vs. DTF breakdown walks through which method wins at different quantities and budgets.

Turnaround: What to Expect in the Treasure Valley

Standard turnaround on embroidery orders is 5–7 business days from art approval. Most Meridian and Boise customers pick up in-shop; we also ship to Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, and the rest of the valley — usually arriving the next day via ground given our location.

Rush orders are available. Same-day turnaround is possible on in-stock blanks with an approved stitch file already in our system. If you're coming to us the Tuesday before Meridian Dairy Days or the week of a Boise State home opener and you need 30 embroidered hats by Friday, call that out in your quote request and we'll tell you straight whether it's doable. Most of the time, it is.

The one thing that slows orders down: art that isn't ready. A logo sent as a low-res JPEG from a Facebook page will need cleanup before digitizing, and that adds time. If you have an AI, EPS, or high-resolution PNG, send that. If all you have is a blurry screenshot, send it anyway — we'll tell you what we can work with.

What We Embroider

The most common items through our shop:

We also do custom leather patches, which combine really well with embroidered hats — you get the patch as the main logo and embroidery for secondary text. It's a cleaner look than trying to stitch a complicated gradient logo directly into a hat.

Our Gear and Quality Track Record

We run commercial embroidery machines — not hobbyist setups — with digitizing done in-house so we control quality from file to finished product. That matters for fine details like thin letter strokes and small text, where a bad stitch file turns a clean logo into a muddy pile of thread.

Across 7 years in Meridian, we've built a 4.9-star rating on Google from 66 reviews, and a lot of those reviews mention embroidery specifically. The feedback that comes up most: logos look sharp, colors match, and orders arrive when we said they would.

If you want to see how embroidery holds up over time compared to printed decoration, our embroidery care guide covers washing, drying, and storage so your gear stays sharp past the first season.

Who We Work With in the Treasure Valley

Our embroidery customers are a pretty wide mix: small businesses getting their first uniforms done, large construction companies needing ongoing safety vest and hat orders, nonprofits ordering event gear, and sports teams that need full kits with names and numbers. We work with individual buyers too — custom gifts, personal monograms, one-off pieces.

If you're running a team or organization that needs recurring orders throughout the year, our online team stores are worth looking at. We've set up 136+ live stores for groups across Idaho; members order on their own schedule, we produce and ship directly, and you never have to collect money or manage sizes.

How We Make This Stuff

Everything covered in this post is produced in our Meridian, Idaho shop at 2700 E Lanark St. Eagle Ridge Apparel is a family-run print shop serving the Treasure Valley since 2019 — we embroider, screen print, DTF, sublimate, laser-cut leather patches, laser-engrave drinkware, and UV-print promotional goods on equipment we operate ourselves. No outsourced decoration, no overseas fulfillment, no third-party middlemen.

Most custom apparel orders ship in 7–10 business days from approved mockup. Rush production in 3–5 business days is available on most decoration methods; embroidered hats are the tightest constraint. We hold no minimums on any decoration type — order one piece or one thousand — though pricing scales aggressively over 50, 100, and 250-piece tiers. Free digital mockups before production starts. We don't begin a run until you sign off on what it'll look like.

Two ways to order: design it yourself online in our designer tool (any quantity, any decoration method), or request a custom quote and we'll send back pricing within one business day. Talk to a real person — email info@eagleridgeapparel.com or send us a message, and most inquiries get a response within two hours during the business day.
