What "same-day" actually means in print
Real same-day turnaround is the exception, not the rule, in commercial garment decoration. A traditional screen printing setup takes 3–4 hours just to burn screens and mix Pantone inks before a single shirt gets printed. That's why most Boise shops quote you a week or more — they're being honest about their process.
What we do differently: we run a hybrid production floor. DTF (direct-to-film) printing bypasses the screen-burn step entirely, which means full-color prints can go from artwork-approved to ready-for-pickup in under 8 hours. Embroidery is similar — once our digitizing team has your logo as a stitch file, our SWF multi-head machines can run 24 hats in under 2 hours.
The honest timeline for rush apparel in the Treasure Valley
- By 10 AM with print-ready art → same-day pickup possible on most DTF shirts up to ~50 pieces
- By 11 AM with a logo file → same-day embroidered hats up to 24 pieces
- Tonight for tomorrow → 24-hour turnaround on bulk screen printing up to 500 pieces
- Tonight for end of week → 48-hour full team kit (shirts + hats + hoodies)
Those aren't marketing claims — they're the actual production windows we've held open during our 7+ years rescuing last-minute orders in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and the surrounding Treasure Valley.
What we charge for rush — and what we don't
Most print shops in the Boise area charge a 50–100% rush upcharge. Some pile on a "expedite fee" plus screen-setup charges plus a "weekend production fee." By the time you see the invoice, you've doubled your shirt cost.
Our rush fee is a flat 25%, no other surcharges. No setup fees, no plate fees, no minimum order, even on a 24-hour rush. That's because our DTF and embroidery processes don't have setup costs baked into them — so when you ask us to drop everything, the only real cost is bumping someone else's job in the queue.
What we need from you to deliver
Same-day works when the kickoff is clean:
- Print-ready artwork. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are best for embroidery and screen printing. High-res PNG with transparent background works for DTF. If your artwork needs cleanup, we can do it — just adds an hour or two to the timeline.
- A real garment count and sizing breakdown. "About 50 shirts" turns into "let me check stock" turns into delays. Knowing exactly how many of each size up front saves us 30 minutes of pre-production.
- A direct answer on whether you can pickup or need delivery. Our shop is at 2700 E Lanark St in Meridian — 15 minutes from downtown Boise via I-84. Pickup is fastest. We can deliver around the Treasure Valley for bulk orders, but it adds an hour to plan the route.
When same-day isn't possible (and what we do instead)
If your design needs custom mixed-ink Pantone matching, or your order is 500+ pieces, or you uploaded a low-res photo as your logo at 9:45 AM — we'll tell you straight up. In those cases we look at 24-hour and 48-hour rush options instead, which still beat most shop quotes by 4–5 days.
What we never do is take your money and miss the deadline. If we say it's ready by 5 PM, it's ready by 5 PM.
