UV printing is a direct-to-surface process where UV-curable inks are applied onto the surface of an item and immediately cured (dried and hardened) using ultraviolet light. The UV curing process creates a chemical bond between the ink and the substrate — the print becomes part of the surface, not a coating sitting on top of it. The result is a print that doesn't peel, crack, or fade under normal use conditions.
This process is fundamentally different from DTF printing, which is designed for soft fabric substrates. UV printing is designed for hard, rigid surfaces — the kinds of items that can't be run through a garment printer at all.
