Embroidery Near Me — Meridian, Idaho

Embroidery
Near Me

Here's the kind of job that runs through the shop every week: 60 polos, a two-color logo, left chest, two weeks before a brand launch or grand opening. Someone Googles "embroidery near me," walks in Tuesday, picks up finished polos on Friday. That's the version of "embroidery near me" this shop is built around. Fast, walk-in-friendly, and staffed by people who actually know what they're doing.

Where We Are

Eagle Ridge Apparel
2700 E Lanark St, Meridian, ID 83642
(208) 330-1601 · info@eagleridgeapparel.com
Open Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM MT · Walk-ins welcome

We're 10 minutes from Boise State University, 15 minutes from Eagle, 20 minutes from Nampa, 25 minutes from Caldwell. The shop is off Eagle Road in Meridian's business park — free parking, easy in-and-out. Most customers from across the Valley land here in under 30 minutes.

What We Embroider

Polos, hats, jackets, bags, uniforms — if it can be hooped or clamped, we stitch it. In-house on SWF multi-head machines with 500+ Madeira and Isacord thread colors.

Custom Polos and Dress Shirts

Left-chest logo embroidery is the single most requested service we run. Business teams, restaurant staff, real estate crews, medical offices — a clean left-chest logo on a quality polo is still the most professional uniform decision you can make. Pricing starts around $8–$15 per piece depending on stitch count and quantity.

Hat Embroidery

Structured and unstructured caps, trucker hats, beanies, snapbacks. We stock Richardson 112, New Era, and Flexfit blanks, or we stitch on hats you supply. Front, side, and back placements available. We also do stitched leather patch hats if you want something that stands out from standard embroidery.

Jackets, Hoodies, and Vests

Chest logos and full-back designs on fleece pullovers, softshell jackets, zip-ups, and hard-shell outerwear. Great for construction crews, coaching staff, and corporate giveaways. Embroidery survives the jobsite laundry cycle. Printed alternatives don't.

Team Jerseys and Sports Apparel

Player names, numbers, sponsor logos on team jerseys and warm-up tops. Youth leagues, high school teams, rec leagues, club sports — we do full team orders every season. No minimum means even a 10-kid travel team gets the same quality run as a 200-player district program.

Bags, Aprons, and Accessories

Tote bags, gym bags, duffel bags, canvas aprons, chef coats, towels. Event swag, hospitality uniforms, fundraiser gifts. Embroidery on soft goods becomes a keepsake instead of something that lands in a donation bin three months later.

One-Piece Custom Orders

Honestly, some of our favorite jobs are single pieces. A vintage denim jacket with a family logo. A single fleece pullover for a retirement gift. One polo for a new hire starting Monday. No minimums means one piece gets the same care as five hundred. (We do this more than you'd think.)

Why "Near Me" Actually Matters for Embroidery

When customers search "embroidery near me," they're usually after one of three things. And we've specifically built this shop to handle all three well.

Seeing It Before You Commit

Walk into our Meridian shop and you can touch thread color swatches, hold a sample polo with actual stitching, see a leather patch next to a standard embroidered hat. Online-only shops can send you mockups, but they can't let you feel the difference between a 6,000-stitch logo on a cotton pique polo versus the same design on a polyester performance shirt. That texture difference matters, especially for uniforms your team wears every day.

Getting It Fast

Being local cuts shipping out of your timeline entirely. Drop off your blanks on a Tuesday, pick up embroidered garments on Friday. Rush orders (3–5 business days) are available on most items — no shipping lag to eat into your deadline. We had a customer drop off 24 construction vests at 8 AM and pick them up embroidered the next day for a job site photo. That's what local production can do.

A Person Who Answers the Phone

Call (208) 330-1601 and someone picks up. You'll talk to the same person who quotes your job, checks the artwork, and calls you if the logo vectorizes differently than expected. That's not possible with a warehouse fulfillment center in another state.

Out-of-state competitors may beat us on bulk price if you're willing to wait three weeks and accept blind trust in mailed-back mockups. We compete on speed, in-person consultation, and the kind of accountability that comes from being 10 minutes down the road.

Embroidery vs. DTF — Which Is Right for Your Order?

We do both in the same building, so we're not trying to upsell you on one over the other. The honest answer depends on your design and how the garment gets used.

Choose embroidery when: your logo is clean, uses 1–6 solid colors, and will be washed frequently. Embroidery is physically part of the fabric — the thread is stitched in. It doesn't crack, fade, or peel after 200 wash cycles. Corporate uniforms, restaurant workwear, construction crews, and youth sports teams almost always land on embroidery for exactly this reason.

Choose DTF when: your design has photographic detail, gradients, or more than 6 colors. A realistic mountain-range graphic, a full-color portrait, a design with tiny halftone dots — these are cases where DTF wins. The print sits on the fabric surface rather than being stitched in, so it handles artwork complexity that would take 30,000 stitches to replicate in thread.

When you're not sure, send us the artwork and tell us what it's going on. We'll give you a straight recommendation. Half the time customers come in asking for embroidery and leave with a DTF order because it fits their design better — or vice versa. We'd rather get you the right process than take an order that won't look the way you're expecting.

Pricing — What to Expect

Embroidery is priced by stitch count — the number of thread stitches required to reproduce your logo at the size and placement you're requesting. A clean, simple logo in 2–3 colors stitches faster than an intricate crest with 8 colors and fine detail. We always give you an exact quote before you commit, with the stitch count included so you know what you're paying for.

Rough ranges for common orders:

Simple Left-Chest Logo

$8 – $15 / pc

4,000–8,000 stitches. Clean logo, 1–4 colors, standard left-chest placement on a polo or jacket. The most common embroidery request we run. Free digitizing on orders of 12+.

Hat Front Embroidery

$10 – $18 / pc

5,000–10,000 stitches. Structured or unstructured cap, front panel. We can source the blank or stitch on hats you supply. Leather patch option also available.

Full-Back or Complex Logo

$18 – $40 / pc

12,000–25,000+ stitches. Large jacket backs, intricate multi-color logos, script lettering, crest designs. These take longer to run — the quality payoff is obvious when you hold one.

On orders of 12 or more, digitizing is free; on smaller orders there's a one-time setup fee that stays on file, so reorders skip it. Every order includes an in-house production proof before we run. Blanks can be sourced through us from SanMar and S&S Activewear catalogs, or you can bring your own garments and we charge embroidery-only pricing.

Quantity breaks start at 12 pieces and improve again at 24, 48, and 100+. Call us at (208) 330-1601 or request a quote online and we'll get you exact pricing within a few hours.

How It Works

From your first contact to finished garments — most orders are done in under 10 business days. Rush options are available.

1. Send Your Logo

Email your logo in any format — AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, JPG. Tell us the garment type, placement, and quantity. If you don't have a digital version, a photo of your existing logo is a fine starting point. We'll figure it out.

2. We Digitize — Free on 12+

Our in-house team converts your logo into a precision stitch file tuned for your specific garment and placement. This is free on orders of 12 or more; on smaller orders there's a one-time setup fee that stays on file, so reorders skip it. Most shops charge $40–$80 for digitizing; we waive it at 12+, and the file is yours to reorder against later.

3. You Approve the Mockup

We send you a production proof showing the stitch layout, thread colors, and exact placement before anything runs on the machine. You approve it. If anything looks off, we fix it and re-proof before stitching a single garment.

4. We Stitch

Your order runs on our SWF multi-head embroidery machines. Multi-head configurations let us run multiple garments simultaneously, which keeps turnaround fast even on larger orders. Every finished piece gets a quality check before it ships or goes into your pickup bag.

5. Pick Up or Ship

Pick up at our Meridian shop (2700 E Lanark St, walk-in friendly) or we ship via FedEx/UPS. Free local delivery available on Treasure Valley orders over $250. Nationwide shipping at standard carrier rates.

Reorders Are Easy

Your stitch file stays on file after the first order. Reorders are as simple as telling us how many and what color. No re-digitizing, no re-proofing unless you change the design. A lot of our customers reorder seasonally or for each new hire.

Who We Do This For

Seven years in Meridian means we've embroidered for pretty much every type of customer in the Treasure Valley. Some common archetypes:

The Team Mom With a Deadline

The youth-sports booster mom who needs 85 spirit hoodies embroidered with the team crest before a regional tournament. Two weeks out, already running late. She calls Tuesday morning, we quote by noon, mockup approved Thursday, stitching Friday. That's a timeline we can hit regularly. Not always, but often enough that last-minute tournament gear is a real lane for us.

The Small Business Owner Doing Uniforms

The pest control company in Star that added three new trucks and needs embroidered work shirts for the new hires starting Monday. They've already got an account with us from the original crew shirts. Reorder is a phone call. We pull the stitch file, source the blanks from SanMar, and have the order ready in 5 business days. That's what a standing relationship with a local shop actually buys you.

The Construction Crew Before a Big Job

Twenty-four vests and a dozen hard-hat-style caps with the company logo before a commercial build kickoff. The GC wants the crew looking professional on day one for the client walkthrough. Rush order, in-house delivery to the job site. We've done this more times than I can count — contractors make up a big chunk of our recurring customer base.

The Church Group Treasurer

Sixty matching volunteer polos for the food pantry, ordered by someone who has never placed a custom embroidery order in their life. They've got a JPEG of the church logo, a list of names for optional personalization on 20 of the shirts, and a tight budget. We walk them through the process, tell them what to expect on pricing, and make sure the first order goes smoothly. That group has come back every year for three years.

The One-Off Personal Order

A single fleece jacket with a grandfather's initials and the year he served, ordered as a memorial gift. One piece. We do it — same quality check, same turnaround. On a one-piece order there's a one-time setup fee, and it stays on file so any reorder skips it. It's the order that means the most to the person who placed it.

FAQ

Embroidery Near Me — Common Questions

Where is the closest embroidery shop in the Treasure Valley?
Eagle Ridge Apparel is at 2700 E Lanark St in Meridian, Idaho — central to the Treasure Valley. We're 10 minutes from Boise State University, 15 minutes from Eagle, 20 minutes from Nampa, and 25 minutes from Caldwell. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM MT.
Do you have a minimum order for embroidery?
No. Zero minimums on embroidery. You can order one polo, one hat, or one jacket. The per-piece price is higher on a single item than on a large run — that's just the economics of setup time — but we'll never turn away a small order. A lot of our favorite jobs are one-piece custom requests.
Is digitizing really free?
On orders of 12 or more, yes — we waive it entirely. On smaller orders there's a one-time setup fee, and it stays in our system so every reorder skips it. Our team converts your logo into a precision stitch file before anything runs on the machine. Most shops charge $40–$80 for digitizing; we waive it at 12+.
How fast can you turn around an embroidery order?
Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days from approved mockup. Rush production (3–5 business days) is available on most orders. For genuinely tight timelines — same-week or next-day — call or text (208) 330-1601 directly and we'll tell you straight what we can do. We won't promise a timeline we can't hit.
Can I supply my own garments for embroidery?
Yes. We embroider on garments you bring in or ship to us — company polos already in stock, vintage jackets, customer-purchased hats, inherited apparel. We charge embroidery-only pricing on supplied garments (no blank markup). Bring them to our Meridian shop or ship to 2700 E Lanark St, Meridian, ID 83642.
What file formats do you accept?
Any format works — AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, or JPG. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) give us the cleanest starting point and produce the sharpest stitch result, but our digitizers can work from any file type. If you don't have a digital version at all, send us a photo of your logo and we'll vectorize it before digitizing.
What's the difference between embroidery and DTF printing?
Embroidery uses thread stitched directly into the fabric — raised, dimensional, durable through hundreds of washes. DTF (direct-to-film) printing transfers full-color artwork onto a film that bonds to the fabric surface — better for photographic art, gradients, and designs with more than 6 colors. We do both in the same shop. Send us your artwork and we'll recommend the right process for your specific project.
How much does custom embroidery cost?
Embroidery is priced by stitch count — the number of stitches required to reproduce your logo at size. A simple left-chest logo (4,000–8,000 stitches) typically runs $8–$15 per piece. Hat front embroidery runs $10–$18. Full-back or complex designs run $18–$40. We quote every order individually and always give you the stitch count and exact price before you commit to anything.
Do you ship custom embroidery outside Idaho?
Yes. We ship nationwide via FedEx and UPS. Same quality, same turnaround as local orders. Local Treasure Valley customers can pick up at our Meridian shop (2700 E Lanark St) or get free delivery on orders over $250.
Can I stop by without an appointment?
Yes — walk-ins welcome Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM MT. Most customers stop in to see thread color swatches, touch sample garments, or pick up a finished order. If you want a full quote consultation with mockups ready ahead of time, call or text (208) 330-1601 so we can prep before you arrive.
