Most bachelor party shirts age badly. The design that seemed hilarious at 11 PM the night you ordered them looks regrettable in the Instagram photo two months later. Here are five design approaches that survive the morning-after review.
Idea #1: Destination-Themed Crew Tees
Less risk: lean on the destination. Vegas, Nashville, Cabo, Wisconsin Dells — each has its own design vocabulary that doesn't require the crew to be funny.
Vegas: 'Last Round in Vegas' with neon-style typography. Black + gold or red + black.
Nashville: 'Bachelor Crew — Nash Bash'. Cowboy boots + 'Last Round' phrasing.
Cabo: 'Bachelor Crew — Cabo [Year]'. Tropical color scheme.
Wisconsin Dells / lake trip: 'Lake Hooligans' with anchor or fishing graphic.
Idea #2: Inside-Joke Tee (When the Crew Has One)
If your crew has a real inside joke — a phrase one of you always says, a tradition the group has, a running gag from college — print it on the back of the shirt. Outsiders won't get it. The crew will. That's the entire point.
This is the design approach that ages BEST because the joke is true to who the group is, not a generic 'bachelor party' template.
Idea #3: 'Groom + Crew' Athletic-Style Tees
Athletic-team-inspired design. Groom wears 'GROOM' across the chest in varsity-team style. Crew wears 'GROOM SQUAD' in matching style. Often with the wedding year on the sleeve.
Looks intentional, ages well, doesn't lean into comedy.
Idea #4: Golf Weekend Crew Set
For golf-weekend bachelor parties. Crew tees that read 'Bachelor Pro-Am' or 'Last Caddy' with golf-course graphic. Often paired with embroidered golf polos for the actual round.
Idea #5: 'Last Round' Series (Trip-Specific)
Self-aware comedy that works. 'Last Round Before [Wedding Date]'. References the bachelor party as 'the last hurrah' without being crude. Works for almost any trip type.
Design Choices That Age Badly (Avoid These)
- 'Penis games' visuals or phrasing. They embarrass everyone at the wedding when the photos surface.
- Strip club specific references. Bride sees the photo, gets mad. Marriage starts bad.
- 'Game Over' with literal tombstone graphic. The groom doesn't want to feel like he's at his own funeral.
- 'Sold to the highest bidder' marriage jokes. Less funny than your crew thinks.
- Crude phrases the groom's mother-in-law might see. Will be photographed by someone.
Groom Distinguished Strategy
Always distinguish the groom. Options:
- Groom in white, crew in dark color (or vice versa)
- Groom wears 'GROOM' across the chest; crew wears 'GROOM SQUAD'
- Groom has a custom phrase on the back ('Game Day [Wedding Date]'); crew wears the destination + 'Last Round'
Cost
Crew tees at 6–12 pieces with DTF: $16–$24 per shirt. Groom's distinguishing tee: $18–$26.

How We Make This Stuff
Everything covered in this post is produced in our Meridian, Idaho shop at 2700 E Lanark St. Eagle Ridge Apparel is a family-run print shop serving the Treasure Valley since 2019 — we embroider, screen print, DTF, sublimate, laser-cut leather patches, laser-engrave drinkware, and UV-print promotional goods on equipment we operate ourselves. No outsourced decoration, no overseas fulfillment, no third-party middlemen.
Most custom apparel orders ship in 7–10 business days from approved mockup. Rush production in 3–5 business days is available on most decoration methods; embroidered hats are the tightest constraint. We hold no minimums on any decoration type — order one piece or one thousand — though pricing scales aggressively over 50, 100, and 250-piece tiers. Free digital mockups before production starts. We don't begin a run until you sign off on what it'll look like.
Two ways to order: design it yourself online in our designer tool (any quantity, any decoration method), or request a custom quote and we'll send back pricing within one business day. Talk to a real person at (208) 954-9492 or info@eagleridgeapparel.com — most inquiries get a response within two hours during the business day.
