Class reunion shirts mark the milestones nobody else marks. The 10-year reunion proves you survived. The 25-year reunion proves you settled. The 50-year reunion proves you matter. Each milestone has its own design vocabulary. Here's what works for class reunion shirts across the Treasure Valley.
10-Year Reunion — Casual + Nostalgic
Most 10-year reunions lean casual. People are 28 years old, careers are forming, kids are babies. The mood is 'remember when we were young?' without being heavy.
Common designs:
- 'Class of [Year] — 10 Year Reunion' + school mascot
- 'Still Got It — Class of [Year]'
- School mascot + '#WeStillFit' hashtag
Typical volume: 50–100 pieces. Cost: $10–$15 per shirt with screen print.
20-Year Reunion — Mix of Nostalgic + Self-Aware
20 years out, the class has lived adult lives. Mortgages, kids, divorces, career arcs. Reunion mood balances nostalgia with self-aware humor about aging.
Common designs:
- 'Class of [Year] — 20 Years Later'
- 'Where Are We Now? — Class of [Year]'
- 'Survived the [Decade]' with decade-specific cultural callback
Typical volume: 60–120 pieces.
25-Year Reunion — Silver Anniversary Milestone
25 years is a real silver anniversary. The reunion feels intentional — alumni traveled in, committee planned hard, the design should match the weight.
Common designs:
- 'Silver Anniversary — Class of [Year]' with silver typography
- '25 Years Strong — Class of [Year]'
- 'Class of [Year] — Then + Now' with side-by-side graphic showing the yearbook era + current
Typical volume: 50–150 pieces.
50-Year Reunion — Big Nostalgic Milestone
50 years out is the BIG one. Surviving alumni are in their late 60s. The reunion feels precious. Designs lean heavily nostalgic.
Common designs:
- 'Class of [Year] — 50 Years' with original yearbook-era mascot
- 'Class of [Year] — Still Here, Still Together'
- Original graduation-year graphic (replicated from yearbook) with '50 Years Later' added
Typical volume: 40–100 pieces (smaller because of natural attrition).
Then vs. Now Photo Tee (The Best 25+ Year Design)
The single best design for 25+ year reunions. Original group photo from graduation year printed on the FRONT of the shirt. Current group photo (from the reunion itself, or a planning meeting) on the BACK.
Emotional. Photogenic. Kept as keepsake. Worth the extra cost.
Production: DTF printing handles photo art without setup fees. Cost: $14–$20 per shirt at 50+ pieces.
Memorial Elements for Milestone Reunions
50-year reunions inevitably involve honoring classmates who have passed. Many committees add an 'In Memory Of' section to the back of the shirt — names of classmates who didn't make it.
Sensitive but appreciated. Discuss with the planning committee before committing. Some classes prefer not to memorialize on the shirt itself; others find it essential.
Replicating Vintage Mascot Art
School mascot art changes over decades. Class of 1976's mascot might look completely different from the school's current logo. For milestone reunions, replicate the ORIGINAL mascot art from your graduation year — it's where the nostalgia lives.
Send us a high-resolution photo of an original yearbook page. We'll redraw the mascot art cleanly for print.
Pre-Sale Model for Reunion Shirts
Don't gamble on inventory. Run an online pre-sale where alumni order their own shirts through a custom storefront, pay by card, and we produce only what sold. We build the storefront for free. Zero inventory risk to the reunion committee.
Production Timeline
Order 6 weeks before the reunion for safety. Alumni RSVPs trickle in late; build in a 10–15% buffer for late-adds. Standard production 10–14 business days plus 5–7 days for mockup approval.

How We Make This Stuff
Everything covered in this post is produced in our Meridian, Idaho shop at 2700 E Lanark St. Eagle Ridge Apparel is a family-run print shop serving the Treasure Valley since 2019 — we embroider, screen print, DTF, sublimate, laser-cut leather patches, laser-engrave drinkware, and UV-print promotional goods on equipment we operate ourselves. No outsourced decoration, no overseas fulfillment, no third-party middlemen.
Most custom apparel orders ship in 7–10 business days from approved mockup. Rush production in 3–5 business days is available on most decoration methods; embroidered hats are the tightest constraint. We hold no minimums on any decoration type — order one piece or one thousand — though pricing scales aggressively over 50, 100, and 250-piece tiers. Free digital mockups before production starts. We don't begin a run until you sign off on what it'll look like.
Two ways to order: design it yourself online in our designer tool (any quantity, any decoration method), or request a custom quote and we'll send back pricing within one business day. Talk to a real person at (208) 954-9492 or info@eagleridgeapparel.com — most inquiries get a response within two hours during the business day.
