Most people lump softball into one category but the uniforms tell two very different stories. Fastpitch travel teams want polished, sponsor-heavy sublimated kits that look tournament-ready. Slow-pitch league teams typically want a sponsor-branded polo and call it good. Both buy from us — but the orders look nothing alike. Here's how to think about each.
Fastpitch — the tournament-ball look
Fastpitch travel teams play in tournament circuits that span states. The uniform has to look as serious as the players. Standard fastpitch order:
- Sublimated game jersey — full color, names + numbers, sponsor logos on sleeves and back ($45–$65 per piece)
- Matching shorts or pants — sublimated to match the jersey ($30–$50)
- Practice tees in team colors — for daily practice rotation ($11–$16)
- Visors or fitted caps — embroidered with team logo ($16–$24)
- Team backpacks — embroidered with name and number for tournament travel ($35–$55)
Full kit per player: $135–$210 depending on tier. Most fastpitch teams order through a team store so each player's family pays for their own kit.
Slow-pitch — the recreational vibe
Slow-pitch leagues — both men's and women's — have a different cultural standard. The uniform is part marketing, part inside joke. Sponsor name on the front, team name on the back, often something funny about the team. Standard slow-pitch order:
- Sublimated jerseys OR sponsor polos — depending on the league's vibe ($28–$45)
- Visors or caps — embroidered with team logo ($16–$22)
- Optional sponsor logos on sleeves or back — usually 1–3 sponsors per team
Slow-pitch teams typically don't order full kits — just the jersey or polo, maybe a hat. Per-player cost is usually under $50.
Quantity differences matter
Fastpitch travel teams typically order 12–18 player kits with full uniforms. Slow-pitch teams often order 14–22 jerseys (with subs counted) but skip everything else. The decoration setup cost is the same regardless, so smaller kit orders cost more per piece.
Sponsor logos — the dollar math
If your sponsor is paying for the team, they want their logo on the jersey. Most softball teams place the primary sponsor center-front, secondary sponsors on the sleeves, and the team logo or league logo on the back. We do all of this in one print pass — no extra setup fee per sponsor.
For slow-pitch leagues where each player picks their own sponsor (a beer brand on one player, a local restaurant on another), we can run a multi-design order. Each design adds a small setup; the overall cost typically stays under $40 per player.

Both fastpitch and slow-pitch teams pick up new players during the season. We save your team file and can produce a single replacement jersey in 5–10 business days. No setup fee on the reorder.
