Which Decorating Method Is Right for Your Order?
This is the first question we ask every customer who walks in or sends a quote request, because the answer changes the price, the timeline, and how the finished product wears over time.
Embroidery
Best for structured logos on polos, hats, jackets, and work uniforms. The thread is stitched directly into the fabric, so it holds up through industrial washing without fading or cracking. A typical ask for us: 24 polos, two-color chest logo, for a Nampa HVAC company — that runs around $18–$24 per shirt depending on the blank and stitch count. Free digitizing on the first run means you don't pay a setup fee to convert your logo into the stitch file.

DTF Printing (Direct-to-Film)
DTF is the right call when your design has a lot of colors, fine detail, or gradient shading that embroidery can't replicate cleanly. A heat-transfer film is pressed onto the garment, and it bonds well to cotton, polyester, and blends. DTF is also the most flexible option for small runs — one shirt, no problem. Typical pricing on a full-front DTF print on a standard tee runs $15–$22 per shirt at quantities of 12 or fewer, dropping significantly as quantity goes up.
Honestly, DTF has replaced screen printing for a lot of the small-batch work we used to turn away. No screens, no minimum color counts, no lengthy setup.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is still the best value at volume — generally 50+ pieces with a design that's 1–4 solid colors. The cost per shirt drops fast once the screens are made. A 72-piece run of single-color front-print tees on Gildan 5000s will usually land in the $8–$12 per shirt range. If you're outfitting a youth sports organization, a church event, or a Nampa business with a big crew, screen printing is almost always the most cost-effective route. How Long Does It Actually Take?
Standard turnaround at Eagle Ridge is 7–10 business days from art approval. That covers most embroidery, DTF, and screen printing orders. Blank garments ship to us from our suppliers in 2–4 business days, then production runs after approval, so the clock starts when you sign off on the proof — not when you first reach out.
Rush is available. Same-day production is possible on in-stock items when the order comes in before 10 a.m. If you're in Nampa and need something for a Saturday event, call it out when you request a quote and we'll tell you straight whether it's doable.
Nampa customers typically pick up in Meridian rather than shipping, which cuts 1–2 days off the process. We're just off Eagle Road near Fairview — easy in and out, and you can proof the order in person before you take it.
No Minimums — What That Actually Means
A lot of shops in the Treasure Valley require 12, 24, or even 36 pieces before they'll take a job. We don't. You can order one hat, one jacket, or one shirt. The per-unit cost is higher on a single piece than on a run of 50 (that's just math), but we won't turn you away because your order is small.
This matters a lot for specific situations: a new employee who needs one embroidered polo before their first day, a gift for a retiring coach, a sample run before committing to a larger order. Those are real jobs we run every week.
What We Need From You to Get Started
The faster you can get us these three things, the faster your order moves:
- Your logo or artwork — a vector file (.ai, .eps, .pdf with outlined fonts) is ideal. A high-resolution PNG works for DTF. If all you have is a blurry JPEG, we can often work with it, but it may slow things down.
- Garment style and color preferences — if you have a brand standard, tell us. If you're open to suggestions, we'll recommend blanks that fit your budget and hold up to how the shirts will be used.
- Quantity and sizes — even a rough size breakdown helps us quote accurately. A size run for 30 people is almost never 10-10-10 mediums, larges, XLs. We see a lot of orders that end up heavy on L and XL.
