The school's spring fundraiser committee picked a design two weeks before the event and hit us on a Tuesday needing 98 shirts by Saturday. Three garment colors, a full-color front graphic and back sponsor list. The kind of order a lot of print shops would say no to — or quote a rush fee that eats the fundraiser's margin.
We proofed a mockup within 3 hours. Approved that afternoon. We ran DTF for the multi-color detailed front graphic and screen-printed the back sponsor block (simple 1-color = fast setup). Split the print run across our DTF press and screen line to hit the deadline. Shirts were sorted by size Friday morning, boxed for Saturday pickup. Organizer paid standard pricing — no rush upcharge — because we wanted the fundraiser to succeed.
98 shirts delivered on time. Fundraiser raised its goal. Half a dozen parents from the event have since come back with their own work-apparel orders. Small-town network effects are real.
