DTF skips all of that. Your design prints onto a film, gets a powder adhesive bonded to it, and then transfers to the garment with a heat press. The whole process handles full-color gradients, fine detail, and photographic artwork that would be nearly impossible to screen print at a reasonable price.
It works on cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, and most specialty fabrics. Dark shirts, light shirts, it doesn't matter. You get the same color on a black tee as you do on a white one.

How to send your art so it prints right
A PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI or higher is the cleanest starting point. Vector files, AI or PDF, work great too and give you the sharpest edges on fine lines. If you've only got a JPEG off your website, send it anyway — we'll look at it and tell you whether it'll print cleanly or whether we need to redraw something. We don't charge for that check.
